Pelvic/Orthopedic Physical Therapist

Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Employment Type: Part-Time (with growth to Full-Time) • W-2 Position

Summit Physio & Performance is a fitness-forward, wellness-centered, out-of-network physical therapy clinic specializing in active clients, orthopedics, and long-term patient transformation. Our client population is typically high school aged athletes spanning to active older adults. We work with a lot of crossfitters, weightlifters, outdoor enthusiasts, and a wide range of sports. Our care model is based on quality fitness forward care, and it is intentionally designed for individuals who want to move, train, and perform for life.

We are expanding our pelvic health services and are seeking a skilled Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist who understands strength training, CrossFit, running, and modern movement principles. This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit - they’re excited about building their caseload within a supportive practice, connecting with the local fitness community (gyms, run clubs, etc.), and hosting workshops to grow visibility, while also having Summit Physio’s full support with marketing, community partnerships and systems as you grow. Someone who thrives in a collaborative, energetic, growth-oriented environment. This physical therapist also will have the opportunity to treat general orthopedic conditions as we are a growing practice and this is our primary client population, so we are looking for someone who is also qualified in this area.

Position Overview:

The Pelvic Floor/Orthopedic Physical Therapist will provide personalized, evidence-informed pelvic health/ortho care with an emphasis on functional movement, strength training, and whole-person wellness. This role includes one-on-one patient care, patient education, program development, and contribution to Summit’s supportive, growth-oriented team culture.

This is an excellent fit for a PT who:

  • Wants to specialize in women’s pelvic health (or men’s as well).

  • Is already confident in pelvic floor treatment (no pelvic mentorship available), but appreciates orthopedic collaboration and support.

  • Works well independently while staying connected to a small, collaborative team.

  • Is energized by the entrepreneurial side of private practice - community workshops, relationship-building, and growing a caseload.

  • Values individualized patient sessions (no high-volume, insurance-driven care).

  • Is active, trains regularly, and embodies what they teach.

  • Is passionate about pelvic health, women’s wellness, and evidence-based rehab.

  • Thrives in a movement-forward environment with engaged, active clients.

  • Can start part-time and is motivated to grow to full-time.

You're a Great Fit If You:

  • Are confident treating orthopedic conditions of the spine and extremities.

  • Believe strength training is rehab and enjoy programming with a performance mindset.

  • Avoid fear-based language and integrate modern pain science.

  • Communicate clearly and confidently with active clients, including runners and lifters.

  • Value autonomy and feel comfortable managing your schedule with support.

  • Enjoy collaborating with a small, high-performing team.

  • Are committed to whole-person care.

  • Are personally active - lifting, running, CrossFit, or similar.

  • Stay organized and take responsibility for your success.
