Summit Physio & Performance is a growing, wellness-centered physical therapy clinic that delivers high-quality, personalized care with flexibility and heart.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Social Media Coordinator supports Summit Physio’s mission by planning, creating, and posting engaging content for Instagram and Facebook. This contractor will play a key role in highlighting patient care, promoting events, and sharing educational and community content. They’ll also assist with occasional administrative projects.

This is a part-time independent contractor position, estimated at ~1-3 hours per week, with flexibility to increase hours based on project needs and contractor availability.

  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong visual storytelling skills

  • Confident using Canva, Instagram, and Slack (training provided as needed)

  • Able to take initiative while collaborating with a small team

  • Interested in health, movement, and wellness-based messaging

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media Creation & Management

  • Plan, design, and post weekly reels and posts on Instagram/Facebook.

  • Submit rough drafts via Slack for review and edits by the physical therapy team.

  • Edit content based on feedback and update captions in shared content docs.

  • Share posts and reels to stories, including tags, captions, and links when possible.

  • Download raw video clips for cross-promotion and submit them to Slack.

  • Assist with uploading and crossposting to Tik Tok, Facebook, and other media platforms.

  • Assist with posting to stories during events, weekly needs, testimonies, business updates as needed.

Content Planning & Collaboration

  • Meet monthly (45–60 minutes) with Summit Physio staff to plan social content.

  • Feature local businesses and community highlights in Instagram Stories following monthly newsletters.

Administrative Support (optional)

  • As time allows, assist with occasional administrative tasks or projects, if available.

  • Support event promotion or content capture when requested if local to Colorado Springs, CO.

POSITION STANDARDS:

  • Maintain professionalism, HIPAA compliance, and alignment with company policies.

  • Communicate clearly and consistently with the Summit Physio team via Slack.

  • Bring new ideas, contribute creatively, and support innovation in marketing.

  • Provide timely updates and meet agreed-upon deadlines for content delivery.

COMPENSATION

  • $40 for creation of 2–3 reels/posts (rate may vary depending on complexity)

  • $45 per monthly planning session

  • $15/hour for any approved additional administrative projects
