💡Treatment Philosophy
“I believe movement is medicine, and that everyone deserves the freedom that comes with a strong, active body. My approach centers on helping individuals unlock the potential their body truly has the capability for. My approach to physical therapy is grounded in delivering individualized, effective, and compassionate care meeting the individual where they are in life.
My passion for treating connective tissue disorders is deeply personal—I live with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS) myself. Learning how to train intentionally, build strength, and move with confidence changed my life and allows me to maintain an active lifestyle where I am able to be healthy and continue to give back to the community.
I focus on building durable movement patterns, enhancing functional capacity, and preventing future injuries through intentional, fitness forward care. Whether someone is recovering from surgery, managing a nagging injury, or striving to reach new activity goals, my approach centers on empowering them with the tools, education, and personalized treatment needed to support lifelong mobility and optimal function. Simply put, you do not have to be defined by a diagnosis, chronic pain, or a condition. You get to choose what you make of your life with the body you are given, and I take pride in facilitating a plan to ensure your body can move for life.”
🤍 Personal Why
I became a physical therapist because physical therapy changed my life and allowed me to remain active participating in many sports from youth to adulthood. Living with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome taught me how powerful intentional movement, strength, and education can be. Through physical therapy, I gained confidence in my body and learned how to move without fear. Today, I use both my clinical expertise and personal experience to help others move past limitations, build resilience, and reach goals they once thought were out of reach.

“After undergoing back surgery, I was filled with a mix of fear, uncertainty, and hope. Enter Brianna Martin: and I truly could not be more blessed to have had her by my side during recovery. From the very beginning, Brianna handled every emotion I threw her way with compassion, patience, and an unwavering belief in my ability to heal.
She wasn’t just my physical therapist; she became my biggest encourager. Her knowledge, professionalism, and calm demeanor gave me the confidence I didn’t know I had. Every session with her felt like a step forward, not just physically, but emotionally, too.
Thanks to Brianna, I not only regained strength and mobility but also a sense of hope and trust in my body again. I honestly don’t know how to thank her enough. She is a true gift to anyone on the road to recovery, and I will always be grateful for the care she gave me during one of the hardest chapters of my life.

“I saw Dr. Briana Martin, DPT the week I was in town for a weightlifting completion. I was experiencing loss of my grip and a tingling sensation in my hand whenever I would go overhead. This was causing my to miss lifts at heavier percentages. I was nervous about finding a PT in town who would be able to help, but as fate would have it, I found Briana! Upon learning about my case, she opted to forgo her lunch that day to see me ASAP. She treated me and gave me exercises to do in the days leading up to my competition. I believe I saw her twice that week. Her sports-specific knowledge due to a background in CrossFit was very helpful. She made sure I knew what the issue was, and how to approach it moving forward. By writing down and explaining the exercises to me, I was able to fully understand the protocol. Later that week, I snatched a competition PR at 2023 USAW Senior Nationals. I recommend Brianna to all athletes in the area!!!
